Responding to a question about whether there would ever be an Oasis reunion, Liam replied: โ€œNever. This is not a stopgap until me and Noel come to our senses and start Oasis again. That is well and truly done.โ€

Speaking to The Guardian, Liam was also critical of Noelโ€™s statement after he left the band in August 2009.

In the statement Noel bemoaned โ€œthe lack of support and understanding from my management and bandmatesโ€ he had received.

Liam called the statement โ€œabsolute fucking bollocksโ€.

He added: โ€œI just look at him [Noel] now and think, โ€˜Youโ€™re a fucking fake.โ€™ Itโ€™s like, if you want to fucking leave the band, leave the bandโ€ฆ if you wanna have five years off, have five years off. Weโ€™ll sit down as a band and talk about it. But donโ€™t start going, โ€˜I was bullied out of the band.โ€™ Fucking shite.โ€

Gallagher also confirmed that Beady Eye would not play any Oasis material on their forthcoming UK tour.

The bandโ€™s debut album, โ€˜Different Gear, Still Speedingโ€™, is out on February 28.
