Aretha Franklin has said that her recent health problems have now โ€œbeen resolvedโ€.

Speaking to JET magazine, the soul legend said sheโ€™d been suffering from โ€œa very hard pain in my sideโ€ and had recently undergone a colonoscopy as a result.

When this process found nothing negative, she subsequently advised by her doctor to undergone a CAT scan, of which Franklin added: โ€œThank God he said that because that unfolded what the problem was and everything.โ€

Franklin gave away few details about her condition, and refused to comment on reports that sheโ€™d been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. โ€œI donโ€™t have to talk about my health with anybody other than my doctors,โ€ she said. โ€œThe problem has been resolved.โ€

She did have a message for those who had been worried about her health. โ€œI know my fans are concerned,โ€ she said. โ€œLet them know I am feeling great and coming along.โ€
