Antony and the Johnsons have revealed details of a new five-track EP called “Another World” to be released early next month.
The new songs are called “Another World”, “Crackagen”, “Shake That Devil”, “Sing For Me” and “Hope Mountain.”
Since winning the Mercury Music Prize in 2005 for the album “I Am A Bird Now”, frontman Antony Hegarty has worked on serveral other musical projects and collaborations including on the Bob Dylan biopic I’m Not There soundtrack and with Hercules and Love Affair and Bjork.
Antony and the Johnsons are also due to play their first UK shows since 2005 next month, with two shows accompanied by the London Symphony Orchestra at London’s Barbican on October 30 and 31.
Antony’s third album The Crying Light is due for release in January 2009.
