Paul Weller has unveiled a new video taken from his album, Saturns Pattern.

The clip is for โ€œPick It Upโ€, which will be released as a single on December 18th.

Talking about the song, Weller explains: โ€œI was trying to get a Meters vibe to it. Stan (the producer) had a drum loop and I put a funky guitar on it and that was all we had for a while. Eventually we pieced it all together. โ€œWhatever shatters pick it upโ€: pretty straight-forward message.โ€

The video for โ€œPick It Upโ€ features Martin Freeman performing some rather surreal DIY in an orange jumpsuit and wielding a chainsaw. The video has been difrected by Ben Smallwood.

โ€œPick It Upโ€ will be released on 7โ€ vinyl and as a 2-track Download / Stream, backed by a previously unreleased Dub Mix. A special 7โ€ bundle via paulweller.com includes an exclusive bonus 7โ€ including the previously unreleased track โ€œOn Days Like Theseโ€ b/w โ€œPraise If You Wannaโ€ which was previously only available on Japanese formats of the Saturns Pattern album.
