Nick Cave on Grinderman reunion: ‘Every other shitty band is doing it, why not someone who’s good’

Nick Cave has spoken about reforming Grinderman in order to play the Coachella Valley Festival of Music and Arts in California this April. Cave took to Twitter on Tuesday in order to answer questions from fans. When asked why Grinderman were getting back together after splitting in 2011, Cave responded: "Every other shitty band is doing it, why not someone who's actually good."

Fleetwood Mac announce the first leg of 2013 reunion world tour

Fleetwood Mac have announced the first leg of their planned 2013 reunion world tour. The much-revered band have confirmed a large run of US shows to take place from April to June next year, and also told Rolling Stone that they planned on playing a spate of European festivals and shows, too. Speaking about the dates, singer Stevie Nicks said: "It's the perfect time to go back out. 2013 is going to be the year of Fleetwood Mac."

The Black Keys hit out at ‘partial’ Black Sabbath and Van Halen reunions

The Black Keys' drummer Patrick Carney has hit out at the recent reunions of Black Sabbath and Van Halen and their failure to include all their original members. The full original line-up of Sabbath reunited last year, but have subsequently parted ways with drummer Bill Ward over a contract dispute. Van Halen released their first album for 14 years earlier this year, but recorded it without long-time bass player Michael Anthony, with mainman Eddie Van Halen's son Wolfgang Van Halen taking the role.
