Is Bob Dylan set to release a new studio album this Christmas? According to a post today (August 5) on the website of long-running Bob Dylan magazine ISIS, rumours that started circulating over a month ago that the iconic songwriter had gone into the studio at the end of his European tour in May to record a new album look like they were true. ISIS first mentioned in its June 2009 newsletter that Dylan was recording again, only weeks after the release of Together Through Life. Since then, according to the ISIS website story, further information has come to their attention that the new record will actually be a Christmas album – although there is no news yet on whether this will be an album of covers of Christmas standards, new original Dylan songs or a mix of the two.
