Coldplayโs Chris Martin has revealed that the bandโs forthcoming new record is a โconcept albumโ.
Although he is yet to reveal the albumโs title or release date, Martin confirmed that it is โa concept album but itโs supposed to be very personal within a big frameworkโ.
Speaking about the concept, Martin told BBC News: โItโs from the point of view of two people who are a bit lost.โ
He added: โTwo like-minded outsiders who meet in a very difficult environment and therefore have a journey together.โ
The band have been working with Brian Eno and producer Marcus Dravs on sessions for the follow-up to 2008โs โViva La Vida Or Death And All His Friendsโ, with Martin saying they โspent a year making a lot of noiseโ.
