THE HOLD STEADY
Craig Finn’s righteously sweaty and road-hardened gang are a firm favourite of Uncut and it’s easy to see why.
Their blue-collar, rolled-sleeve, alterno rock – with its tales of heartbreak and seriously hard living – is both grittily real and deeply romantic and suggests as kindred spirits The Blasters, The Boss and The Replacements.
They take the stage after Bat For Lashes at Latitude on Saturday, to play from their considerable back catalogue and lead a collective exorcism of the soul.
Latitude takes place July 12 – 15 at Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk.
