ARCADE FIRE
Anyone who doubts the transcendent power of orchestral pop – not to mention the potential of the crash helmet as percussion instrument – will surely be converted by Montreal’s Arcade Fire, who Time magazine saw fit to make cover stars after the release of their ‘Funeral’ LP in 2005.
Led by the husband-and-wife team of Wim Butler and Regine Chassagne, the Latitude Main Stage headliners plough a thrillingly imaginative, physically exuberant and emotionally exhilarating, alterno-pop furrow which should beguile fans of Bruce Springsteen, The Bad Seeds and baroque alike.
Arcade Fire play the Main Stage on Sunday July 15.
Latitude takes place July 12 – 15 at Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk.
