Idlewild, Badly Drawn Boy and Alberta Cross are amongst the names confirmed for LodeStar this Summer. Set on a 165-acre farm in Lode, Cambridgeshire, the latest indie-rock festival to add itself to the calendar hopes to bring a different 60s counterculture vibe to the festival circuit. The three-day event will showcase newer artists as well, with hotly-tipped bands Foals, Friendly Fires, Palladium and The Rakes all appearing too. Created by Sunnyridge Farm owner Doug Durrant, the festival will take place on the family-run farm from August 31 - September 2. Durrant hopes the festival will be “a thrilling era for live music” where 70 plus acts are already confirmed to play across three stages. Weekend tickets are priced £85.
