Neil Young has just completed work on his latest album 'Chrome Dreams II' which is due for release on October 16. Neil Young played the album to record label Reprise yesterday (August 19) continuing a playback tradition that goes back to 1969. 'Chrome Dreams II' features three songs revisited from the 1977 album 'Chrome Dreams' that Neil Young planned but didn't complete, as well as seven brand new recordings. The playback in Burbank, California was to 100 people, and lasted just over an hour. The album produced by 'The Volume Dealers' - NY and Niko Bolas features two epic tracks that clock in at eighteen and a half minutes and thirteen minutes respectively.
