Prince Charles made a surprise appearance onsite at the Glastonbury festival this afternoon (June 24). The royal was met by Blur’s Alex James and the band Two Door Cinema Club backstage at the Queen's Head tent on a flying visit to the site. After meeting the band, Prince Charles went onstage before visiting a nearby Water Aid stall, and was then taken to the Pyramid Stage to meet the crew. Details of the Prince’s visit were kept secret as nearly 100,000 festival goers made it to the site ahead of the official start of the music, which kicks off tomorrow morning at 11am (BST).
