The Rolling Stones have this afternoon announced that the European leg of their ‘Bigger Bang’ tour is to take place this Summer.

The 20-date tour will see the band headline their first UK festival, at Isle Of Wight on June 10, it is also their first festival appearance since Knebworth in August 1976.

The group culminate the tour with a show at London’s 02 Arena (formerly the Millennium Dome) on August 21.

Other cities the band will be visiting for the first time include; St. Petersburg, Serbia and Kiev.
