Riders On The Storm, featuring surviving original Doors members Robbie Krieger and Ray Manzarek, have announced that they will play some special shows at the end of the year, in celebration of the band’s 40th anniversary. Vocal duties for Riders On The Storm are handled by The Cult’s Ian Astbury. The band formed in 2002 after The Doors VH1 Storytellers series, when he collaborated with the band to great success. Riders On the Storm will play Camden’s Roundhouse on December 30 and 31. It has been 38 years since The Doors played their only UK gig at the historic venue.
