Rare pictures of The Beatles meeting youngsters from a children's home while filming A Hard Day's Night in 1964 have been discovered by a children's charity.
Staff at The Children's Society discovered the photographs in an archive which contained a copy of the charity's supporters’ magazine from 1964. It featured an article on children from the Society's now-defunct Roehampton home, Hambro House, meeting the band while they were filming at London's Scala Theatre.
Led Zeppelin have announced details of Deluxe Editions of Led Zeppelin IV and Houses Of The Holy.
The editions have been produced And newly remastered by Jimmy Page and will each be accompanied by previously unreleased companion audio.
They will be released on October 27 in multiple CD, Vinyl, And Digital formats, including Limited Edition Super Deluxe boxed set.

OK, I’ve managed to remember 143 albums that came out this year and that I liked. As in previous years, I didn’t see much point in hacking my list down to a Top 100, or Top 50, or whatever. While it’d be a stretch to claim every one is an imperishable classic, I do feel broadly confident recommending them all.

British filmmaker Tony Scott, director of Top Gun, has died after jumping from a bridge in Los Angeles.
Scott, 68, was seen parking his car and jumping from the Vincent Thomas Bridge over Los Angeles Harbor at 12.30pm local time on Sunday (August 19). According to official sources quoted in the Daily Breeze, Scott leapt "without hesitation".
A suicide note was found inside Scott's car, a black Toyota Prius, said US Coast Guard Lt Jennifer Osburn. A representative from the LA County Coroner's Office told the BBC: "We have no reason to believe it was not a suicide."
The past few days I’ve been reading, on Rob Young’s recommendation, Alexandra Harris’ Romantic Moderns, an excellent survey of how British artists and writers in the mid-20th Century tried to reconcile a modernist impulse with the residual lure of English cultural traditions.
