Radiohead team up with Jude Law for polar bear film

Radiohead have teamed up with Jude Law to produce a campaign film for Greenpeace. The film tells the story of a polar bear forced out of her Arctic habitat due to climate change and features the Radiohead track "Everything In Its Right Place" from the band's 2000 album Kid A. Speaking of the film, Thom Yorke said: "We have to stop the oil giants pushing into the Arctic. An oil spill in the Arctic would devastate this region of breathtaking beauty, while burning that oil will only add to the biggest problem we all face, climate change."

Radiohead confirm rescheduled show dates following Toronto stage collapse

Radiohead have rescheduled seven shows following last week's stage collapse in Toronto, which killed crew member Scott Johnson and injured three others. The shows, which were due to take place in Italy, Germany and Switzerland, have all been moved to late September, following their postponement last week. The band's show Rome Hippodrome Capanelle has been moved from June 30 to September 22, with their date at Florence Parco delle Cascine moving from July 1 to Septembe 23.

Brogaard, who has been production manager for Rod Stewart since 1985, recommended that the use of steel roofs should become an industry standard.

Radiohead are set to reschedule seven shows following Saturday's stage collapse in Toronto, which killed crew member Scott Johnson and injured three others. The band have had to postpone seven European shows set for the end of this month and the beginning of July, as the accident also destroyed the band's 'unique' lightshow and parts of their backline setup, all of which now needs to be replaced in order for the tour to continue. Radiohead-run tour company under investigation after stage collapse

Four companies, including one run by the members of Radiohead, have been asked to comply with an investigation by the Canadian government into the stage collapse which led to the death of the band's drum technician on Saturday (June 16). Ticker Tape Touring LLP, which lists Johnny Greenwood, Philip Selway, Colin Greenwood, Ed O'Brien and Thom Yorke as board members has been identified by the Canadian Ministry of Labour as one of at least four companies involved in the collapse, the Toronto Star reports.

Radiohead stage collapse kills drum technician

Radiohead's drum technician, Scott Johnson, has been named as the man who died after a stage collapsed before the band's concert in Toronto on Saturday (June 16). A relative confirmed to the BBC that the 33-year-old from Doncaster had died when the roof of the stage fell on top of him. A further three people are injured, with one reported to be in a serious condition, in the incident at Downsview Park. Radiohead’s Thom Yorke to collaborate with Jack White?

Radiohead's Thom Yorke has hinted that he could be set to collaborate with Jack White. According to Billboard, the singer made a cryptic announcement from the stage during the band's set at the Bonnaroo Music And Arts Festival in Tennessee, America suggesting that he and the former White Stripes man had some exciting plans in the pipeline. Dedicating the track "Supercollider" to the Blunderbuss singer, he said: "This song is for Jack White. We saw him yesterday. A big thank-you to him, but we can't tell you why. You'll find out."

Radiohead debuted a brand new track titled "Full Stop" in their recent live show in Cincinnati on Tuesday (June 5). Two rough recordings of the track, one recorded while the band soundcheck and the other recorded during the show itself but facing the floor, are available to be heard. The tracks are not the first new ones the band have debuted in recent months, with new cuts named "Identikit" and "Cut A Hole" also played in the band's past sets on their US tour.

Radiohead's Thom Yorke has said he can see why the band's eighth album The King Of Limbs alienated people. Speaking to Rolling Stone, the singer said of the album, which was released as a download with just a week's notice with no publicity by the band: "It was amazing just to put the record out like that. But then it didn't feel like it really existed…But that was the consequence of what we chose to do. You can either get upset about it, or say, 'well, that's not good enough.'"
