David Bowie urged Scotland to "stay with us" and not vote for independence in his acceptance speech at last night's Brit Awards (February 19).
The ceremony took place at London's O2 Arena earlier this evening, with Bowie winning Best International Male. However, the singer was not at the venue to pick up his award, and instead sent supermodel Kate Moss to pick up the prize on his behalf and read out his acceptance speech.
Sometime last autumn, maybe, an EP called “Artorius Revisited” by Michael Head & The Red Elastic Band was quietly released in limited quantities. Damon Albarn will make his radio presenting debut this Saturday (October 5).
The frontman will be covering for regular presenter Dermot O'Leary on his BBC Radio 2 show, which airs at 3pm. The BBC states that Albarn will be playing music "from all over world", and will also be joined by actor Idris Elba as well as Paul Simonon, Ken Dodd and a Pentecostal Choir.
Later…Live with Jools Holland will return on April 9 with guests including Suede and Cat Power.
The long-running music show will start its 42nd series with the first in eight half-hour live shows on BBC 2 at 10PM on Tuesday, April 9. Suede will appear to perform songs from their new album 'Bloodsports' while Cat Power will make a rare live appearance in the UK, playing songs from her 2012 album 'Sun'.

During the address, the actress made mention of the fact that Bowie himself was not in attendance.
