The George Harrison Memorial Garden at the Bhaktivedanta Manor Estate near Watford is now open to the public.
Harrison – who passed away in 2001 – gave the site, formerly known as Piggots Manor, to the International Society for Krishna Consciousness in 1973 after becoming a follower of the Hare Krishna religion. Following Harrison's death, a garden was created in his remembrance. His widow Olivia Harrison said: "I am grateful to the devotees for honouring George in the form of a garden. A manifestation in the material world of which he would be very proud."

Jason Molina, the singer and guiding force behind Songs: Ohia and Magnolia Electric Company has passed away due to natural causes. He was 39 years old.
"This is especially hard for us to share," his label, Secretly Canadian, wrote in a press release. "Jason is the cornerstone of Secretly Canadian. Without him there would be no us — plain and simple."
The singer had been mostly absent from the world of music since cancelling a tour with Will Johnson in 2009 to deal with alcoholism and related health issues.
R.E.M are to release a deluxe, 25th anniversary reissue of Green.
The reissue will include a remastered version of the band's 1988 album accompanied by a live live disc taken from a November 10, 1989 show in Greensboro, North Carolina, the penultimate date of the band's Green World Tour. Sleeve notes will be written by Uncut's editor, Allan Jones.
Green was R.E.M’s sixth studio album and their first for major label Warners. It includes the breakthrough singles, “Stand” and “Orange Crush”.
The Columbia Albums Collection, the new 17-album boxset from Blue Öyster Cult, is reviewed in the new issue of Uncut, dated April 2013, and out now. Kraftwerk opened their eight-night residency at Tate Modern on Wednesday by playing in full their fourth album, Autobahn.
Kraftwerk played a two-hour set that also included most of their best loved numbers. Those lucky enough to secure tickets for Kraftwerk’s first night in the London art museum’s imposing Turbine Hall were each given a cushion, a crib sheet on the band and a pair of 3D spectacles. However, virtually the whole audience stood to appreciate Kraftwerk’s impressive visuals, displayed on a massive screen behind.
