In case we need reminding, the last time Bruce Springsteen played Hard Rock Calling – at Hyde Park, last July – a curfew was broken, the PA switched off, and Springsteen and a guesting Paul McCartney were silenced mid-song. It seems unlikely there would be a repeat of such shenanigans this year.
Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band played their Born In The USA album in full during their show at London's Hard Rock Calling last night (June 30).
After an afternoon which had seen sets from Alabama Shakes and the Black Crowes, Springsteen and the E Street Band took the stage at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park at 7pm. They played for three hours, including Born In The USA - which they had also played in full the previous night at the Stade de France in Paris.
The Rolling Stones have been confirmed as headlining the Saturday night of this year's Glastonbury festival.
A post on the official Glastonbury festivals website appeared at 7pm today confirming the line-up of this year's festival.
Arctic Monkeys will headline on Friday and Mumford & Sons will headline on Sunday. Other bands playing include Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Portishead, Alabama Shakes, Elvis Costello, Primal Scream, Vampire Weekend, Dinosaur Jr and Cat Power.

The Stone Roses have announced plans for one-off gig in Dubai next year.
The reformed Manchester band will play the Media City Amphitheatre on February 21, 2013. Tickets for the concert go on sale on Sunday (November 18). Fans can register for tickets at Thestonerosesdubai.com.
The band are also set to play two shows at Finsbury Park in London and another at Glasgow Green in June next year. Support for the Glasgow show includes Primal Scream, Jake Bugg and The View. Support for the London shows will be announced shortly.
Lollapalooza festival was forced to postpone on Saturday [August 4] for several hours as heavy thunderstorms rolled into Chicago.
At around 3:30pm local time, festival organisers announced an evacuation of the site after weather warnings had been given from the National Weather Service of severe storms approaching. Punters were urged to move to pre-determined, underground evacuation zones.
Alabama Shakes have announced a short UK tour for this November.
The band, who released their critically acclaimed debut album Boys & Girls earlier this year, will play four shows in November, including two in London.
The run of shows begins at Manchester Academy on November 12, before moving onto Glasgow Barrowlands on November 13, the band will then play two dates in the UK capital, first day at the Coronet on November 16 and then at the HMV Forum on November 17.
Jack White, Black Keys and Alabama Shakes are among the acts playing this year's Lollapalooza Festival.
The line-up also includes Franz Ferdinand, Gaslight Anthem, Black Sabbath, the Afghan Whigs and Red Hot Chili Peppers.

Alabama Shakes returned to the UK last night [May 3] for their first gig since storming into the Official UK Album Charts at No 3.
The Athens, Alabama five-piece performed at London's Brixton Electric in their first UK show since their album Boys & Girls was released on April 9. They played a mixed set of songs from the album and some brand new tracks.
