Antony Hegarty’s Meltdown festival: full line-up revealed

The line-up for Antony Hegarty's Meltdown festival at London's Southbank Centre has been revealed. The Antony And The Johnsons singer is curating the annual festival, following in the footsteps of Jarvis Cocker, David Bowie and, most recently, The Kinks' Ray Davies, by curating the 12-day festival which runs August 1-12.

Thom Yorke debuts new Atoms For Peace songs

Radiohead's Thom Yorke and producer Nigel Godrich debuted new songs from their Atoms For Peace supergroup during their DJ set at an LA club on Friday [April 27]. The duo, who play in the band alongside Red Hot Chili Peppers' Flea, Joey Waronker and Mauro Refosco, played the new songs during their set at Transmission LA: AV Club, a free 17-day music and visual arts festival series at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Los Angeles, curated by the Beastie Boys’ Mike D.

Jack White brings ‘Blunderbuss’ to London for first solo UK show

Jack White played his first solo UK show last night [April 23], headlining the HMV Forum the day his debut solo album Blunderbuss'was released. The former White Stripes man was watched by stars including The Mighty Boosh duo Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt, plus Alabama Shakes, who are set to support him on his May UK tour dates, and BBC Radio One's Fearne Cotton.

Red Hot Chili Peppers cover David Bowie, Ramones, Beach Boys on new EP

Red Hot Chili Peppers are set to release a covers EP to celebrate their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame last weekend in Cleveland, Ohio.
