Bruce Springsteen played his first live gig of 2014 at the 1,600 capacity Paramount Theater in Asbury Park, New Jersey on Saturday [January 18].
The event was the 14th Annual Light Of Day benefit to raise funds for Parkinson's Disease.

Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers have nearly completed their new album, according to Benmont Tench.
The Heartbreakers' keyboard player has been speaking to Uncut ahead of the release of his solo album, You Should Be So Lucky.
When asked about the status of the new Tom Petty And The Heartbreakers album, Tench told Uncut: "I think we’re virtually done. We cut a lot of stuff; Tom just wants to get the right batch of songs. That’s the scoop on it."
Robert Plant Presents the Sensational Space Shifters has announced the first of their 2014 European tour dates.
The tour will support a new album out this year, with dates beginning June 10 in Gothenberg, Sweden and across Europe including Russia, Ireland, Germany and more, with a special date at Glastonbury Abbey on August 9.
