At 7pm on the first night of Atoms For Peace’s London residency, the Amok Drawing Room has already sold out of commemorative mugs. The Enterprise pub across the road from the Roundhouse has been rebranded in expressionist monochrome, and an upstairs room has been upholstered in Stanley Donwood wallpaper, the better to sell exquisite £500 prints, t-shirts screenprinted while-you-wait, and a pointedly apocalyptic jigsaw puzzle.
Thom Yorke has defended his position on Spotify, after he and producer Nigel Godrich took to Twitter to express their views that the streaming service was "bad for new music" before announcing that they would be pulling their material from it.

Thom Yorke has composed the score for a forthcoming documentary film about tax avoidance.
The Daily Telegraph says that Yorke and Massive Attack's Robert Del Naja will provide the music for The UK Gold, which explores the history of tax avoidance and will be narrated by The Wire actor Dominic West.
The film, which is directed by Mark Donne, will premiere at London's Troxy Theatre on June 25. A musical performance by a special secret act will also take place immediately after the screening.
