Radiohead guitarist Jonny Greenwood has confirmed full details of his soundtrack for the new film The Master. The film stars Philip Seymour Hoffman, Amy Adams and Joaquin Phoenix and is set in 1950s. It sees Greenwood reuniting with director Paul Thomas Anderson, who he previously worked with on his critically acclaimed soundtrack for There Will Be Blood.

Beach Boys children form a new band

Following in their parents footsteps, members of the Wilson, Love and Jardine families have formed a new band, according to Rolling Stone. The line-up for the band, called California Saga, features Brian Wilson's daughters, Carnie and Wendy, Carl Wilson's son, Justyn, Dennis Wilson's son, Carl B. Wilson, Mike Love's son and daughter, Christian and Ambha and Al Jardine's sons, Matt and Adam. The lineup will also include guitarist Billy Hinsche, Carl Wilson's brother-in-law, who toured with the Beach Boys for decades.

Smashing Pumpkins are streaming their new album, Oceania, online via iTunes. Visit iTunes.com to hear the record. The album isn't formally released until next Monday (June 18), but can be heard in full now. The album is the seventh full-length effort of the band's career. Oceania, which was originally due last September, will now be released on June 18 and has been described as an "album within an album" as it is part of their 44-song cycle 'Teargarden By Kaleidyscope', the first songs for which were released in 2009.
