Neil Young announces additional live dates

Neil Young has announced an additional date for his run of solo acoustic shows at the Dolby Theatre, Los Angeles. Young will now play four dates at the venue: March 29, 30, April 1 and 2. Meanwhile, he has also confirmed that he and Crazy Horse will play Liverpool's Echo arena on July 13 – almost a year after their booked date was cancelled last year due to Poncho Sampedro's hand injury.

Bruce Springsteen adds new live dates

Bruce Springsteen has added a fresh run of dates to his current itinerary. Springsteen and the E Street Band, who are currently in Australia, have announced dates for a spring 2014 American leg. The dates focus mostly on areas that Springsteen didn't play during his 2012 North American tour. The new run of dates begins on April 8 at Cincinnati, Ohio's and finishes on May 18 in Uncasville, Connecticut. No European dates have as yet been announced. Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band will play:

Neil Young & Crazy Horse add four more European dates

Neil Young & Crazy Horse have added four new dates in Germany for 2014. In addition to an already announced date at London's Hyde Park, they will also play: July 20: Münsterplatz, Ulm July 25: Warsteiner HockeyPark, Mönchengladbach July 26: Filmnächte am Elbufer, Dresden July 28: Zollhafen Nordmole, Mainz Tickets are available here.

Win Butler had addressed criticism over the band's Reflektor graffiti marketing campaign in a handwritten letter. In the run-up to the announcement of their new single, which was released on Monday (September 9), a mysterious 'Reflektor' logo decorated buildings, pavements, food stalls and monuments around the world. The band were later revealed to be behind the campaign.

Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds add extra date to tour

Nick Cave And The Bad Seeds have added an extra date to their forthcoming UK autumn tour. The band will now play the Dome in Cave's hometown of Brighton on October 24. Tickets for the new date go on sale at 10am [BST] on August 2. The Brighton show will kick off the run of gigs, before shows at London Hammersmith Apollo (October 26, 27), Manchester Apollo (October 30), Glasgow Barrowland (October 31) and Edinburgh Usher Hall (November 1).

The band will now play additional shows in Southampton, Southend and Bristol, as well as previously announced dates in Leeds, Glasgow, Dublin, Manchester and Birmingham. Tickets for the new shows go on sale May 17 at 9am [BST].
