Keith Richards has confirmed that The Rolling Stones are rehearsing together once again.
The band celebrate the 50th anniversary of their first ever gig today (July 12) and Richards has said that they are now back playing together again after a lengthy break, but could not say when they would be out playing live again.

Do opera-goers have low boredom thresholds? It certainly seems that way watching the production of Damon Albarn’s “Dr Dee” at the English National Opera – or at least that director Rufus Norris assumes they do.
Speaking to Uncut around the release of The Proposition, Nick Cave conceded, “The whole thing was a struggle. So much effort was put into it. It’s the most agonising, frustrating business to be in. Years go by trying to get something off the ground – one idea! It’s unbelievable, the vision you have at the beginning is constantly chipped away at, and you haven’t even filmed anything.”
Sonic Youth’s Thurston Moore has unveiled his brand new band, Chelsea Light Moving.
As well as Moore, the band also features Keith Moore on guitar, Samara Lubelski on bass and John Moloney on drums.
The band's first release, "Burroughs", is inspired by the last words of Beat author William Burroughs, reports Spin.

I first came across the English folk singer Sam Lee just over a year ago, when I wrote about a tribute album to Peter Bellamy. Alongside more familiar names like The Unthanks and Trembling Bells, it was Lee’s version of “Puck’s Song” that stood out, as he cut a fine path through an artful mix of old folk recordings and incantatory drones.
