The Beta Band to release six-disc career retrospective

The Beta Band are released a career-spanning box set on October 7. Titled The Regal Years, the six-disc set will be released through Parlophone, Regal's parent label. The set include their first three EPs, three studio albums (plus bonus tracks), a disc of live BBC sessions and a sixth CD featuring unreleased demos and additional live performances. It’s a lot harder, though, to try and explain exactly why that initial clutch of songs are so much better.
