Jack White hits out at Guinness Book Of Records

Jack White has delivered a bizarre rant against the compilers of the Guinness Book Of World Records. White, who released his debut solo album Blunderbuss last month, told Interview Magazine that he believes he holds the record for he shortest concert in history, but was denied his place in the record books by the company.

The Stone Roses have apparently been rehearsing for their comeback gigs without drummer Reni aka Alan Wren, according to Matthew Priest of Dodgy.

Joe Strummer’s 60th anniversary to be marked with new festival

A festival dedicated to late Clash frontman Joe Strummer is to be staged for the first time this summer. The event entitled Strummer Of Love, will mark what would have been the singer's 60th birthday and the 10th anniversary of his death. It will be staged over three days from August 17-19 at an undisclosed location in Somerset. Strummer died from an undiagnosed congenital heart defect in December 2002.

John Lydon’s PiL kick off countdown to Record Store Day 2012 at tiny show

Public Image Ltd. officially kicked off the build-up to this year's Record Store Day last night (March 19), playing a basement gig in London to mark the announcement of the special releases for this year's event, set for April 21.
