Brian Wilson has announced he is working on a new solo album.
Wilson is currently recording and self-producing the album at Ocean Way Studios in Hollywood, he revealed in a press release on his official site. He has been joined in the studio by musicians including Jeff Beck and two of his former The Beach Boys bandmates, Al Jardine and David Marks.
Smashing Pumpkins' 1996 box set The Aeroplane Flies High is to be reissued on July 23 with 90 bonus tracks.
The original 1996 edition was a five-disc set featuring expanded versions of the five singles from the band's Mellon Collie And The Infinite Sadness album, which came out the previous year. The bumper reissue adds a total of 90 unreleased demos, alternate versions and live recordings and everything has been fully remastered.
Queens Of The Stone Age have compiled all their recent animated videos into a 15 minute long promo for their forthcoming new album, …Like Clockwork.

The festival, which takes place in Balado, Kinross between July 12-14 will be headlined this year by Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers. Also included in the raft of artists set to appear are Foals, Haim, Phoenix, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris and Beady Eye, along with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Dizzee Rascal and Kraftwerk.

Smashing Pumpkins have announced three UK tour dates for later this year.
The band, led by Billy Corgan, will play three shows in July including dates in Manchester, Glasgow and a huge show at London's Wembley Arena. Starting in Manchester on July 1, Smashing Pumpkins will perform in Glasgow on July 2 before returning later in the month for their London gig (July 22).
