It’s Record Store Day on Saturday; a kind of weird, but necessary I guess, annual event that’s become a critical point in release schedules. I’ve been going through the lists of releases at recordstoreday.com and thought it might be worth picking out a few things that are worth looking out for.

Fleetwood Mac have announced the first leg of their planned 2013 reunion world tour.
The much-revered band have confirmed a large run of US shows to take place from April to June next year, and also told Rolling Stone that they planned on playing a spate of European festivals and shows, too.
Speaking about the dates, singer Stevie Nicks said: "It's the perfect time to go back out. 2013 is going to be the year of Fleetwood Mac."
It was National Poetry Day last week, a date I’m sure you found your own ways to celebrate. I was at the Queen Elizabeth Hall, where John Cooper Clarke was in residence for the evening, headlining a show that also featured appearances by fellow poets Mike Garry and Luke Wright, a couple of sharp young wordsmiths who by the look of them may not have been capable of joined-up writing when Clarke was in his glorious early pomp and may possibly not even have been born then, Wright especially looking like he’s only just stopped being looked after by baby-sitters and cooed over in a crib.
Bob Dylan has announced a North American arena tour in support of his forthcoming album, The Tempest.
The arena dates begins in Winnipeg, Manitoba on October 5 and runs through November 21 in Brooklyn, New York.
Rolling Stone reports that this is Dylan's first time headlining arenas in America since 2006.
Special guest on the tour will be Mark Knopfler, with whom Dylan toured Europe last year.
The Tempest, which is the 35th studio album of Dylan's career, will come out on September 10 in the UK and September 11 in the US.
