We've just heard from Festival Republic that they'll be announcing the line-up for this year's Latitude on March 19. That's also the day when tickets will go on sale.

Latitude 2008: The countdown starts here!

Now that we've just about recovered from last year's wonderful, Uncut-sponsored Latitude Festival, it's time we started anticipating the 2008 event. As usual, the acclaimed three day event will be held at Henham Park in Southwold, Suffolk. The dates for your diary this year are July 17-20.

They call this time the gloaming -- night coming down, all colours leached from the sky. It seems a remarkably appropriate moment for the Arcade Fire to take the stage and close Latitude Year two with an enormous bang. And some fireworks.
